Notes & Achievements:
- Smal Alarm Saturday, June 6th, was a great success. SFD installed 26 smoke detectors through the community.
- The City of Statesville celebrated the opening of Fire Station 5 at 533 Gaither Road on June 30th. Fire Station 5 officially began serving the community on Monday, July 6th.
- In collaboration with Safe Kids Iredell County and the Statesville Police Department, SFD conducted a car seat safety check at Station 3. This event is part of a Car Seat Check Event Series throughout the county this summer. The next Car Seat Check event in the series will be at Cool Springs Volunteer Fire Department on July 27th from 3pm-5pm.
