Constructed in 2024, Fire Station #1 is the newest and busiest station in the department, serving the downtown area and surrounding community. Its response district includes residential neighborhoods, historic downtown, government facilities, commercial properties, high-occupancy buildings, and locations with hazardous materials. The station is designated as the department’s specialty station for high-angle and confined space rescue and houses Engine 1, Ladder 1, Battalion 1, Squad 1, Reserve Engine 11, Brush 1, and the department’s UTV. Fire Station #1 also serves as the home of the Fire Marshal Division and Fire Administration, both located on the lower level.

Fire Station #2, constructed in 1962, is the oldest station in the department and serves the western portion of the city, including the Statesville Regional Airport. Its service area includes residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, schools, and facilities with hazardous materials. In addition to traditional fire and rescue response, this station plays a key role in Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) operations at the airport. Apparatus assigned to this station include Engine 2, Squad 2, Reserve Engine 12, and ARFF 1.

Constructed in 1975, Fire Station #3 is centrally located within the city and provides quick access to major transportation corridors, including Interstate 77 and Highway 70. This strategic location contributes to a high call volume, making it the second busiest station in the department. Its service area includes residential communities, commercial properties, government facilities, high-occupancy buildings, and sites with hazardous materials. Engine 3, Ladder 2, and Squad 3 respond from this station.

Built in 2011, Fire Station #4 serves the eastern portion of the city and is strategically positioned with access to Interstate 40 to support continued growth and development in the area. The station responds to residential neighborhoods, commercial properties, high-occupancy buildings, and facilities that handle hazardous materials. Apparatus assigned to this station include Engine 4, Squad 4, Hazmat 1, and Reserve Engine 14.

Fire Station #5 officially began operations on July 6, 2026. The station was created by retrofitting an existing home into a fully functional fire station, including the addition of a new apparatus bay. This project represents a strategic investment in public safety by addressing a long-standing service gap, improving emergency response coverage and response times, and enhancing the department's ability to protect the community from all hazards. By utilizing existing infrastructure, the project maximizes resources while expanding the Statesville Fire Department's service capabilities.
