Allen “Pete” Morrison serves as Fire Marshal for the Statesville Fire Department and has been with the department since 2005. He brings 20 years of fire service experience and was appointed to the role of Fire Marshal in 2022.

Morrison began his fire service career with Cool Spring Volunteer Fire Department. Throughout his time with Statesville, he has served in several leadership roles including Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, and Hiring Committee Chair. He holds extensive training and certifications, including Hazardous Materials Technician, Fire Officer I, II, and III, Fire Inspector III, Fire Investigation Technician (FIT), ARFF, and Qualified Fire Instructor.

As Fire Marshal, Morrison focuses on public education, fire code inspections and enforcement, plan reviews, and fire investigations. His top priority is reducing risks within the community through education, enforcement, engineering, and investigative efforts.

A Statesville native, Morrison enjoys spending time outdoors and watching his children play sports. He and his wife are proud parents of three children.
