Compensation

  • Firefighter Starting Pay: $44,457.18
  • Recruit Starting Pay: $42,353.30

Requirements

To be eligible for a firefighter position, you need to meet certain criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply
  • A clean background is required
  • You should possess a valid driver's license
  • While not required initially, you should have the ability to obtain Firefighter 1+2 and EMT-B certifications within 12 months of being hired.
