Positions
Firefighter (Full-Time)
- Starting Salary (Certified): $47,182.72 Annually
- Requirements:
- NC Firefighter I & II Certification
- North Carolina Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Additional certifications (EMR, NIMS 100/200, etc.) within specified timeframes
- Schedule: Start on Day Shift, transition to 24/48
Firefighter Recruit (Full-Time)
- Starting Salary: $44,922.80 Annually
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid N.C. driver’s license (or ability to obtain within 60 days of residency)
- Completion of EMT/EMR course and state exam within specified attempts and timeframe
- Schedule: Start on Day Shift, transition to 24/48
